125 Flexible Spending Plan (FSA)

Santa Rosa Junior College offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 125 plan to all Faculty, Classified, and Management/Confidential employees.  The 125 plan allows employees to put aside pre-tax dollars for eligible medical,dental and vision expenses.  The FSA plan also includes a Day Care Flexible spending account for eligible day care and dependent care expenses.   This plan is a calendar year plan that runs January - December.  Open enrollment for the plan is during the months of October and November for the following calendar year.  Additional plan information is listed below and is available at the following website. http://www.naviabenefits.com/participants

Commuter Reimbursement Plan

Santa Rosa Junior College offers a commuter benefits program to all Faculty, Classified, and Management/Confidential employees.  The plan allows employees to elect a tax free payroll deduction for passes for the SMART train, and other eligible commuter plans.  Open enrollment for the plan is during the months of October and November for the following calendar year. Health Savings Plan (HSA)

Santa Rosa Junior College also offers a Health Savings Account (HSA) for employees enrolled in Kaiser or Blue Shield high deductible plans.  Employees are not eligible to participate in the 125 plan for medical/vision expenses if they are enrolled in the Health Savings Plan.  Questions regarding the Health Savings Accounts should be directed to Deepa Desai 707-527-4500 or Lisa Hotchkiss 707-527-4200.
